Our story

Silence has a cost.

Woman in a purple blouse thinking at her desk

Menopause is still one of the most silently endured transitions in African professional life.

Cultural taboos, limited healthcare access, and workplaces designed without women's midlife health in mind have left 47 million African women aged 40–58 navigating symptoms at the peak of their careers, often in isolation.

We founded Menopause@Work Africa because silence has a cost, a measurable one.

We created a platform that finally makes support feel safe, private, and respectful, while turning a hidden productivity liability into a strategic advantage for forward-thinking African employers.

This is not a “wellness nice-to-have.” It is a balance-sheet issue and a health-equity imperative.
